To our international readers…TELL A STORY Parterre is a Dutch Publishing House. We publish our books in Dutch, but part of Parterre is experimental and open to anybody who wants to tell a story. That is what our publishing firm is about: creating stories with all the possibilities of Internet. The first story is called De waarde van Water (‘The value of Water’). We invite you to take part in our storytelling.You can participate in two ways: You have a contribution that fits exactly in ‘De waarde van Water’. Or you may have an idea: a story, a photo, some text, music or a little movie, but you are not (yet) satisfied with this work. If so, you can put your idea into het lab, where other people can work with it and maybe transform your work into a new story by additions or changes: music to a photo, animation to a drawing etc. In both cases send your idea to lees@parterre.nl. It is also possible to send a totally new story. We placed some beautiful examples at our site: look at Bendito or at Ripples of genocide. There are only two conditions: your work has to be based on reality and it has to be an exciting, thrilling and gripping story.
